Kapuso talent and host Pauleen Luna plans to take a break from her showbiz commitments due to her developing pregnancy. She shared through her Instagram account (with the handle of @pauleenlunasotto) that she has already filed her maternity leave.

According to GMA News Online, her leave began after a special episode of her baby shower was televised on “Eat Bulaga,” Channel 7’s longest-running noontime variety show, on Oct. 28, 2017.

An excerpt of her long caption reads:

“Thank you Eat Bulaga for a fun filled afternoon [insert heart emoji] Especially for all your gifts, love and support for our little girl. I’m starting my maternity leave and will rest for the arrival of our baby. See you again next year, dabarkads!”

As of writing, Pauleen’s post has received 35,737 likes and lots of netizens’ comments. Some of them shared their support to the expectant mother with words such as “God bless always,” “Take care,” and “Have a safe delivery!”

Judging from her caption, Pauleen Luna is set to appear on the variety show again next year. However, she did not give out a specific date. Meanwhile, the source cited that she is expected to give birth to her baby in the next few weeks.

GMA Network also shared a video from “Eat Bulaga” where several personalities from the show expressed their own wishes to the baby. Some of them include Alden Richards, Ruby Rodriguez, Allan K, Ryzza Mae Dizon, and Baste. As of writing, it has received 11,022 views from netizens.

In a previous report, Pauleen Luna and Vic Sotto held their first baby shower that was filled with pastel decorations and delicate designs all over. The event was held in Zuni Restaurant and Wine Bar located in Makati, where it attended by the Luna clan.
