SUPER TEKLA PUMIRMA NA NG KONTRATA SA GMA AT ISA NG TUNAY NA KAPUSO!

Super Tekla finally signed an exclusive contract with GMA Network last Oct. 25. The comedian expressed how thankful he was to finally be an official Kapuso artist. Daryl Zamora, GMA Artist Center Senior Talent Manager and his co-manager Rose Conde were present during the contract signing.

He also thanked all the people who believed in and supported him in his career including the GMA bosses, his manager, Ms. Conde, and his fans. Super Tekla admitted that he was waiting for this moment to come. He said:

“Matagal kong hinintay ito, sobrang patience, talagang nagtiyaga ako. Time will come na ibibigay ni God sa akin. This is it na talagang puwede ko nang i-claim na official at legit na Kapuso na ako, thank you, thank you. I’m so happy, sobrang speechless ako ngayon.”

The 35-year-old comedian was discovered by Willie Revillame on his show “Wowowin“. He was given a chance to be one of the regular co-hosts in the show. But unfortunately, he had to bid a goodbye on June this year. Rumors have circulated online that it was because of his drug addiction which he denied immediately. He also shared that despite what happened in the past, he still remains focused on the positive things happening in his life. He stated:

“Ang aura ko ngayon, sobrang positive talaga, wala nang mga negative. Kailangan positive lang, work, work, work para sa mga Kapuso natin. Pinapangako ko na gagawin ko ang aking best sa tiwalang binigay sa akin ng GMA.”

According to Tekla, he voluntarily took a drug test in order to prove people who suspected him that they were wrong. And the result, of course, made not just him, but also his supporters happy.

He narrated:

“Talagang voluntary akong nagpa-drug test, to clear. Talagang sobrang certified po, nag-negative na po yung result ko ng drugs and I’m so glad. Thank you, thank you. ‘Yung hassle kasi, feeling ko iyon yung harang para ma-achieve ko itong ganito kaya ‘yon muna ang una kong nilinis. Sobrang, ‘Thank you Lord, thank you!’ Talagang sobrang negative ‘yung result”

“This is it, hindi totoo ‘yon. Kaya sabi ko nga, ayoko na ngang magsalita eh. Pero to prove, to clear, para masara na ‘yung haka-haka, wala na po akong drugs sa katawan. Fit to work.”

When Tekla no longer appeared in Wowowin, he was given new opportunities to be in some Kapuso programs like “Sunday PinaSaya”, “Celebrity Bluff”, and “Sarap Diva” as a guest.

“Mga pintuan na magbubukas and of course, ang langit, mag-o-open wide. Bubuhos, mararamdaman mo talaga iyan. Be patient, ‘yun lang, maging mapagkumbaba. Kahit anong gawin mo, alam naman ng Diyos kung saan ka ilalagay.”

Currently, he will be a new character in the primetime series “Alyas Robinhood” as Solenn Heussaff’s sidekick. Super Tekla also hopes to be part of the longest-running gag show, “Bubble Gang” and to work with other Kapuso stars like Vic Sotto and Boobsie Wonderland.
