In breaking news, seasoned actress Isabel Granada was just pronounced dead in Doha, Qatar. This grave announcement came from the actress’ husband, Arthur Cowley who informed the public of his wife’s death in the wee hours on the morning of November 5th, Sunday.

Earlier on October 24, the 41-year-old actress suddenly collapsed while attending a conference in Doha, Qatar. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. Upon further examination, doctors discovered that the actress suffered from a brain aneurysm.

This serious medical condition left the actress in a comatose state. Prior to her death, Isabel Granada spent almost two weeks confined at Hamad General Hospital in Doha, while she was battling between life and death.

The exact date and time of death was confirmed by Isabel’s own cousin, Joseph Rivera. According to Rivera, the actress passed away on Saturday, November 4th at around 6 PM (Arabia Standard Time). In a heartfelt Facebook post, Arthur Cowley announced Isabel’s death at around 12 midnight on November 5th (Philippine Standard Time). The grieving husband wrote on Facebook:

“She has been a fantastic wife, mother and daughter.

She always did her best in everything she did, whether it be in front of a camera or sports.

I would also like to take this time to thank the Filipino community in Doha for giving their full support throughout this difficult time for myself and the family.

Baby..wherever you might be..just always remember that I LOVE YOU. and I miss you very much.”

Since she’s one of the most remarkable faces in the history of Philippine teleseryes, many people were gripped by the sudden deterioration of the actress’ health. Her fans and supporters from all over the world sent their prayers and support to her family.

That being said, the grave news struck the hearts of our nation. Many people all over the country who were still hoping for Isabel Granada’s fast recovery were shocked with the news. As of this moment, thousands of people from social media are extending their outpouring condolences and support to Isabel’s family, especially to her young son, who is only 14 years old.

Hubert Thomas Jericho Granada Aguas is Isabel Granada’s son to ex-husband Jericho. His ex-husband also wrote a heartbreaking letter addressed to Isabel, whom he regarded to as a big part in his life. On Facebook, Jericho wrote:

“Malaki ang naging parte mo sa aking buhay.. Binigyan mo ako ng isang gwapot matalinong anak, makulay ang 14 yrs nating pagsasama… Sa lahat… mula sa aking pusot kaluluwa.. maraming maraming salamat… pahinga ka na… paalam Isa…”
