Majority of people consume different types of meat for their meals. Some individuals prefer meat coming from sea creatures while others would rather cook up a nice steak or some pork chops. Nothing dangerous instantly happens when humans eat meat except for this family of three from New Zealand who were hospitalized 30 minutes after eating meat from a wild boar.

Shibu Kochummen, 35 years old, his 32-year-old wife Subi Babu, and Shibu’s 62-year-old mother, Alekutty Daniel from Putaruru in New Zealand have been urgently rushed to the hospital after eating wild boar meat for their dinner.

According to a report from NTD, the three adults started vomiting and even fainted half an hour after savoring their meal.

According to New Zealand Herald, Shibu’s wife and mother were already unconscious before the paramedics arrived, whom he called for help before he himself collapsed.

It was reported that Shibu Kochummen and Subi Babu’s two children were asleep when the paramedics arrived for rescue. The children, ages 7 and 1, were reportedly safe because they didn’t eat with the adults. They were then brought to safety under the care of the members of their church.

The family’s neighbor, who asked to keep her anonymity, spoke up regarding the incident. She has been living behind their flat for nine months with her husband.
