VICE GANDA TO JOEY DE LEON : SINO BA ANG GINAYA? SINO BA ANG ORIGINAL SA MUNDO?

Eat Bulaga! host Joey de Leon indirectly bashed rival show "It's Showtime" for launching its newest Twitterserye segment they call "Nasaan Ka Mr. Pastillas?" featuring online sensation Pastillas Girl and a line-up of Mr. Pastillas hopefuls and for allegedly copying the format of the hit Kalyeserye featuring the famous AlDub tandem, Vice Ganda released his sentiments questioning the veteran host's statement.

“Sino bang nanggaya, sino bang ginaya? Paulit-ulit na lang ’yan. Sino bang original sa mundo?” Vice said in an interview published Monday on Pang-Masa tabloid.

The unkabogable comedian likewise emphasized the importance of staying relevant to what the televiewers want to see.

“At basta, kahit ano’ng sabihin sa ’yo, for as long as everybody’s talking about you, you remain to be relevant. And in showbusiness, it’s all about being relevant,” he said.

Despite the criticisms they’ve been receiving from netizens, Vice Ganda keeps everything on a positive note.

“Nagpapasalamat pa rin ako sa mga tao because they keep on talking about Pastillas. Anuman ang sabihin nila, whether good or bad, for as long as everyone is talking about it, it makes it relevant,” he added.
