Isabel Granada was pronounced dead on Saturday night, November 4 at 6 p.m. in Doha, Qatar. It was with a heavy heart that his husband, Arnel Principe-Cowley, announced the sudden death of his wife. In a recent TNP report, Isabel Granada passed away at the age of 41- after more than a week’s stay at the Hamad General Hospital.
Around midnight on November 5, Arnel posted the tragic news on his Facebook account along with a heartfelt message to his deceased wife.
Arnel wrote on Facebook: “It is with great sadness that my wife Isabel Granada has peacefully passed here in Doha Qatar. She has been a fantastic wife, mother and daughter. She always did her best in everything she did, whether it be in front of a camera or sports.
I would also like to take this time to thank the Filipino community in Doha for giving their full support throughout this difficult time for myself and the family.”
Furthermore, her death was also confirmed by her cousin, Joseph Rivera on Facebook.
It can be remembered that the actress was rushed to the hospital last October 24 after suffering from severe hemorrhage in her brain. After being examined by the doctors, the celebrity reportedly suffered from a brain aneurysm which rendered her comatose for almost two weeks.
Meanwhile, Isabel’s ex-husband Jericho Aguas and their 14-year-old son, Hubert Thomas Jericho Aguas announced that Isabel’s remains will soon be brought home to the Philippines. In a report by ABS-CBN News, Isabel’s husband is currently making arrangements to bring the actress’ remains home.
According to the ABS-CBN report, Isabel’s mother and son were both expected to arrive in the country today, November 5. Meanwhile, Arnel will remain in Qatar to settle matters in sending Isabel’s remains back home.
