RYAN AGONCILLO NAG PAALAM SA MGA DABARKADS SA EAT BULAGA NA KINALUNGKOT NG KANYANG MGA FANS!

Actor and “Dabarkads” Ryan Agoncillo recently visited his “Eat Bulaga!” co-hosts at the Broadway Studio to inform them that he will be undergoing knee surgery. On Sunday, Oct. 29, Ryan suffered a knee injury caused by a motorcycle accident. In a statement, Ryan said that he will be missing the variety show for a while as he needs to recuperate. He shared:

“I drained about 44cc of fluid from my knee yesterday to relieve swelling and pain. Also had an MRI done to search for tears in the joint and also had my lower back checked na din.”

He continued: “Nagpaalam ako pansamantagal. I’ll have surgery November 5. Hopefully after 2 solid weeks of rest, I’m good to go back. But if recovery is retarded, I’ll be back December 1. Mami-miss ko ang mga Dabarkads!”

The actor shared that he won’t be getting on a motorcycle any time soon, adding that he is looking forward to a vacation with his family.

Meanwhile, Ryan’s wife, veteran actress Judy Ann Santos, is currently in Taipei, Taiwan with fellow actors Angelica Panganiban, Joross Gamboa, and JC de Vera. They are shooting scenes for the upcoming comedy flick titled “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes.”

Previously, Ryan conquered the road across the Himalayas with a group of other motorcyclists. For nine days, they rode, eventually reaching Khardung La, one of the highest roads in the world at about 18,380 feet of elevation.

Claiming that they are the first Filipinos who achieved this feat, Ryanb’s team posted their official statement on Facebook. It read:

“We are glad that we have opened the gateway for other Filipino riders to conquer the Himalayas.”

Ryan’s wife, Juday, has voiced out her full support for him.

“Good job Team Pilipinas! And bubb, we are sooooo proud of you! Ang galing! I can’t wait to see you!”
